4/21/06:
I recently joined a new band! The Long Neck Society is comprised of David Monic, Dane Monic, and myself (from The Boudin Cajun Band), plus Dennis Pennington & John Nugent. We play a lot of classic rock, plus a variety of dance favorites. We'll be playing at local venues around Baton Rouge, so keep an eye on my schedule for dates. Also keep an eye out for a Web site that will probably be created soon. We're all very excited about the new project!

1/27/06:
Michelle & I went to see Aerosmith live in Dallas, TX. What a great concert! This is the second Aerosmith concert we've attended.

10/20/05:
My dad and I went to Charlotte, NC, this past weekend for the NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Lowe's Motor Speedway. It was fantastic to attend another race. This was the first non-restrictor plate race that I've attended. Tires were a major problem for many drivers, and blowouts caused several crashes. Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson for his 4th consecutive win at Lowe's Motor Speedway!

9/28/05:
Hurricane Rita has passed. Again, we made it through this one just fine. We felt less of an impact than we did for Katrina. 2 major hurricanes in Louisiana in a month! Crazy stuff.

9/8/05:
Elisabeth turned 1 year old on September 2, which is also my father's birthday. Happy birthday to both of you! Also, we made it through Hurricane Katrina just fine. We lost power for 3 hours on August 29, so we were lucky. No damage was done to our house or property. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all hurricane victims the best of luck during this difficult time. We're thinking about you.

Tonight Michelle & I went to see John Fogerty at the House of Blues in New Orleans. It was fantastic to see another one of my rock & roll idols perform live.

3/26/05:
www.BillGrass.com is finally active again after some down time. The site was in severe need of an update, and I also decided to give it a new look. My music schedule has been added to the music page.

9/2/04:
Michelle and I are proud to announce the birth of our first child, Elisabeth Emma-Joy Grass! She was born at 8:59 A.M., weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz., and was 20.5" long.
